ONE. This game will be centered around New York. (though they are able to travel absolutely anywhere they wish)
TWO. Relinquo is Threading/AIM friendly
THREE. Proper grammar, spelling and sentence structure is very important in this game. Please, make sure you spell check before you hit that 'send' button or that 'enter' key. One liner's are absolutely not accepted here. Please, respect the other players and actually give them something to work off of. Brainstorming ideas and storylines with other players is also encouraged.
FOUR. Keep IC and OOC separate. This means, if you have a problem with the way things are going IC, please, talk rationally with the other player and try to come to terms with them. Don't start flaming off and throwing a tantrum, what good will that do? Nothing, it will just get you into even more trouble.
FIVE. If you come across a player who is harassing you in any way, please, contact the moderator straight away, and they will take care of the problem, if you feel that it is out of your hands, do not do anything to provoke more irrational behavior. And please, no godmodding, that's just stupid.
SIX. This game plays in storybook form, third person or first, it doesn't matter. Just do not let me catch you using asterisks. Asterisks is just an excuse to keep the character's thoughts from everyone else. Storybook is what we're all about! Explain your character's thoughts, describe what they're doing and feeling. Detail and quality is what we love.
SEVEN. Character journals MUST be kept friend's locked. Journals must be updated at least twice a month. YouTube videos with very little detail and description, do not count as an entry. Make sure to stay active! IM other people, don't always expect that they will talk to you! Talk and welcome newcomers! Comment in journals!
EIGHT. Each character must have their own Insanejournal account and AIM screen name. The screen names must be in some way related to the character. To keep from getting sued in any way, please, put a disclaimer in your user info somewhere, and a link back to the RPG's journal.
NINE. There is no age restriction, just know what you are getting into and there is a very high chance that adult content may be in this game, just be sure to meet our writing standards and you'll do fine.
TEN. Character marriage is allowed by head-mod request. Incest and slash is allowed. Female pregnancy is allowed with head-mod request. Mpreg is just not physically possible.
ELEVEN. There is a character limit of two characters, for now - keep up with them, we'll be watching.
TWELVE. Leaving? Hiatus? Post an entry stating so. Hiatus is limited to ONE MONTH. If you are gone longer than that without word, we're able to drop your character.
THIRTEEN. Place a lyric of your favorite song in the title of your application to ensure you've read and understand the rules.
